The Pacific Islanders Rugby Club was founded, this our 25th season, with a mission to bring together members of the Pacific Islander community in the United Kingdom, fostering a sense of community and preserving cultural ties through the shared passion for rugby. The club quickly gained popularity, attracting players from various Pacific Island nations such as Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga.
Recognising the need for inclusivity and embracing the ethos of diversity, the club took a groundbreaking step in 2021 by introducing a ladies' section during a match with the amazing charity Rugby Against Cancer. This move was not only a strategic decision to broaden the club's horizons but also a reflection of the progressive spirit within the Pacific Islander community in the UK.
